SHOW ME THE BODY
After a last-minute cancellation in 2023, the New Yorkers are coming back stronger than ever — and we couldn’t be happier. Strongly influenced by hip-hop and hardcore punk, Show Me The Body is now a major force on the scene, with a stage presence that sweeps everything in its path.
CRYPTA
Present at the Abyss 8 years ago under the name Nervosa, Fernanda and Luana return this year to represent their band Crypta. They deliver powerful death metal, tinged with black metal and melodic elements, bringing a refreshing blast to today’s Death scene.
MERAUDER
With their album “Master Killer”, Merauder pushed their hardcore to the very top of the genre. Now joined by Marc Rizzo (ex-Soulfly) on guitar, they’re set to deliver an explosive show with the unmistakable, relentless signature of NYHC.
LES RAMONEURS DE MENHIRS
It is the explosive meeting of Loran (founder and guitarist of Bérurier Noir), traditional pipers Eric Gorce and Richard Bévillon, and singer Gwenael Kere. Backed by a supercharged drum machine, the group returns to Gruyère. Pure DYNAMITE!
XOXO
The very best of the Swiss hardcore scene united in one band! A burst of violence packed with nasty riffs and militant lyrics, proudly labelled “Queer & Cute”.
CONJONCTIVE
Their latest album “Misère de Poussière” marked a powerful comeback for Conjonctive. A dark deathcore built on dissonance and groove, strengthened by the contrasting vocal styles of the two singers, Sonia and Randy.
CALCINED
The die-hard extreme-music fans are back! Our favourite locals, Calcined, unleash old-school death metal inspired by the greats, with lyrics drenched in pure anguish and madness.
ATHLETE
No introduction needed — this anti-star supergroup of four athletes spreads their deceptively pop yet melancholic punk rock across the globe. With a freshly released second album, the kings of DIY will bring a pure Punk Rock touch to this line-up!
IVY
A new gem from French-speaking Switzerland, Ivy blends 90s grunge punk with modern hardcore to deliver something fresh and bursting with energy. Mosh pits and acrobatics guaranteed!

NAPALM DEATH
No need to introduce the band that decided to scream and play faster and louder than everyone else. Napalm Death is widely regarded as the pioneer of grindcore — and has been for nearly 40 years.
SIX FEET UNDER
In 1995, Chris Barnes was fired from Cannibal Corpse and continued his journey with Six Feet Under. Recently joined by Jack Owen, also a founding member of Cannibal Corpse, the legendary band returns to Switzerland 10 years after their last visit.
AGRICULTURE
Emotionally intense, Agriculture’s concerts never leave anyone unmoved. The quartet draws on spirituality, catharsis, and queer literature to deliver fresh and innovative post-black metal. Not to be missed!
FAETOOTH
The trio explores the mysticism and heaviness of the Doom genre. Their songs are both enchanting and tragic. A collection of riffs you’ll want to hear on repeat — and that should never end.
AUTHOR & PUNISHER
Having mastered his own form of Metal, mechanical engineer Tristan Shone builds his instruments entirely by hand. For over 20 years, the artist has been crafting industrial Doom and Drone through his machines. A true extreme tinkerer!
EMBRYONIC AUTOPSY
Coming straight from the 90s death scene, the members of Embryonic Autopsy follow the brutal recipe down to the very last drop of blood. Terrifying, disgusting, and gloriously gory.
BRUYANTE
Filled with talent and authenticity, the new project from the three musicians David, Zoé and Valentin promises plenty of anger, hope, sadness, and fear.
THE BASEMENT TOADS
A smell of beer, incense and cold smoke fills the air in Gruyère, as the basement toads take us on a trip to the US with their country-flavoured stoner rock. Proudly Made in Gruyère.

For those arriving by car, a parking lot is available.
The parking lot is located 5 to 15 minutes on foot from the festival.
Since parking spaces are limited, we encourage you to carpool whenever possible.
Coming by Public Transportation
Line 234 of the Fribourg Public Transport (TPF) serves the "Hauteville, Le Ruz" stop, which is a 5-minute walk from the festival.

Camping & RVs
A small camping area is available from Thursday 16:00, lit and secured, only accessible to ticket holders; spaces are limited.
The wine bar is open on Friday and Saturday mornings for breakfast from 8:00 to 10:00.
The organizer assumes no responsibility in case of accidents or theft
Motorhomes: As spaces are limited, only ticket holders are allowed to park near the festival site.

On-site ticketing: payment in cash, by debit/credit cards, and Twint
Bars and food: payment in cash and Twint
We do not offer refunds, we recommend reselling your ticket via social media or on-site. Tickets will not be refunded or exchanged. All artists have confirmed their participation in the festival. However, cancellations or changes to the program may occur, but they do not entitle you to a refund or ticket exchange. The festival takes place regardless of the weather, unless weather conditions pose a danger to the artists or visitors.
Safety
- Animals are not allowed on the festival site
- Bringing your own beverages is prohibited, they will be confiscated
- Fires or gas grills are not allowed on the site
- Video devices are prohibited
- Persons under 15 must be accompanied by an adult
- The site is accessible to people with reduced mobility. (Gravel ground and access / without reserved platforms) For disabled persons requiring assistance, only the disabled person needs to have an entry ticket. (Disability = person with long-term limitations in movement or autonomy requiring assistance) Parking next to the main entrance.
- Lake access is not possible from the site; the festival declines all responsibility in case of an accident
- Boat access is possible outside the site but under the responsibility of the festival-goer
